Bubble House is a house music party that brings people aged 18 to 60 into one room. Another said a venue’s crowd tends to be the same age as its programmer, and proposed programming across age groups on purpose.
A total of 56% of survey respondents agree that nightlife in Amsterdam is for people who live there, not for tourists. But when asked who nightlife is for, participants named people with money, property owners and tourists.
Community-led events, including events run by and for disabled people, like BODY, rely on volunteers and do not make any profit. A participant proposed funding such events directly, and proposed bringing regular visitors into the collective and booking artists from among them.
